The Candle Studio
Choose your materials. Pour. Light it. The burn tells you the truth — and the recipe panel prices it to the gram.

01 · The base
Wax
The one decision that changes everything downstream. Container wax slumps in a mould; pillar wax frosts in a jar. Buy for the shape you are making.
02 · The burn
Wicks
Sized by length, chosen by depth. The wick must clear the wax and still have 1.5 cm to sit in the holder — and one wick heats only about 7 cm of diameter.
03 · The character
Fragrance & Colour
Fragrance is sold at 25 ml because that is what a 10% load on a kilo of soy actually needs. Colour is liquid, so it disperses without specking.
04 · The vessel
Jars, Tins & Bowls
Glass, metal, wood and polycarbonate. Diameter decides your wick count; depth decides your wick length. Both are printed on every one — and drawn to scale.
05 · The shape
Silicone Moulds
For candles that stand on their own. These need pillar wax or paraffin hardened with stearic acid — soft container soy will not hold the shape.
06 · The bench
Tools & Essentials
The thermometer is not optional. Pouring soy ten degrees too hot is the single most common reason a first batch cracks, sinks or frosts.

Ask the chandler
A real question about your actual candle. Whatever you have in the Studio is sent along, so the answer is about that pour and not a generic one.
